The gold and black enamel buttons are based on a moment of the 1939 film ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’ — the first of the fourteen Basil Rathbone ones.
I didn’t see it when it came out, obviously, but about as soon after as I could, and when the fabric came in and clearly deserved the proverbial cherries on top, it immediately sprang to mind.

SPECIFICS

Double-breasted tailored suit jacket crafted from Italian wool-blend two-tone THAMES Baskerville houndstooth jacquard, featuring a lightweight canvas construction, padded shoulders and double back vents. Fully lined and finished with black enamel and gold THAMES Baskerville decorative suit buttons, black enamel THAMES Posh cuff buttons with gold rims, brass coat chain and THAMES tailoring label with cross embroidery.

Detailed with a chest welt pocket, two front flap pockets and an internal welt pocket.
